How do people "Crack" there knuckles?

I have alway's wondered that since I see a lot of people do it. But I want to try it once to see what it feels like but I'm to scared it might hurt.

It doesn't hurt its just bending your fingers down and making a snap don't do it too much though.

it doesn't hurt it just helps stiff fingers for me when i write something .

u can pull it or bend it well thats what I do .
