  1. toddlers is any age over 12mos. Under 12mos is a baby.

  2. well, it SHOULD be:

    kids < 12mths old = babies

    kids > 12mths old =  toddlers

  3. neonate= birth-30 days old

    infant= 30 days-1 year

    toddler=1 year-2 years

    preschool= 3-4 years

    school age= 5-11 years

    adolescent= 12-18 years

    adult= 18-death

    this is the medical definition of each age group

  4. Okay, here's the definition:

    toddle:   To walk unsteadily

    So, I would look at how the kid moves around; if he crawls, he's a baby, if he walks unsteadily, he's a toddler, if he walks well, he's not a toddler.

    However, as a person gets really old and begins to walk unsteadily, they don't become a toddler.

  5. I always went on how well they are moving around.  If their primary mode of function is walking...they are a toddler (could be anywhere from 10 months to three).  If they are mostly crawlers (from six months til nearly two) they are babies.  But that is my personal reasoning.

  6. I usually consider 2+ a toddler.

  7. When your baby starts learning to walk (toddling), then they're a toddler.

  8. They are toddlers once they are walking.

  9. kids become toddlers after turning 1.

  10. when they start talking quite a bit is when i usually start calling them a toddler

  11. usually when the child is about 2 they're considered a toddler

  12. 12 months is usually toddler age

  13. well most people say under 12months a baby and 12 months and older toddlers. but i think they're toddlers as soon as they start walking and then preschoolers when they starts to go to liek preschool and all that stuff.
