Like a big azz Harley or Goldwing? Do they back up a tow truck, lay the bike on it's side and lift it? Drag/winch it into a trailer? I know there is lojoack, but that's only for after it's been stolen. I'm asking because I'm somewhat of an inventor and am trying come come up aith a theft deterrant devise. Any ideas?

  1. somebody wants to steal it bad enough they will, even if they gotta just walk up with a gun and jack it.

  2. make an alarm or a device that sends a signal to owner when vehilce has elevated more than 6" off ground level via a sensor that reads it's current evelation.

  4. they can jus get a couple of big guys and lift it up into the bed of a truck. If they really want a bike, then nothin can stop 'em. criminals can figure out a way if they want it bad enough

  5. People can pretty much steal anything they want to, any time they want to. People steal motorcycles that are in locked garages, chained to anchors dug in to the ground. Plasma cutters are portable enough to be used from the bed of a pick up truck and can cut thru anything simple bolt cutters can't.

  6. I had an Uncle who had a tricked out Harley Dresser and it was a parking lot at a Drag Race. It was chained to a pole and had disc brake lock on it and was stolen and never found. It was only less than 20 min from the time he locked it till he came back to the bike to get something out of one of the bags and it was gone. After talking to some people who may of seen it leave was that they cut the chain and pulled a low flat trailer up beside the bike and tipped it over and pulled up on the trailer and left. The damage would of been minor, also if damaged it was probably parted out anyway. So it wouldn't of mattered anyway.......Hope this helps............UJN
