Don't lawyers charge like $600 an hour? How do people sue so often, even about small things? I have HUGE things I could sue for, but can't afford to. How do they do it? How do people sue a restaurant for taking too long to be seated, when I am being treated like c**p at work because they know I'll put up with it, and can't do anything about it?

  1. Too many lawyers. Work related litigation is easy enough. If it's a big company, most will accept the case for a percentage of the settlment without money up front. Are you the only one, or are there others? If there is more than one of you who feel this way, then just start calling around to different firms.

  2. Depending on the case, I think most lawyers take on clients if they think they can get some publicity out of it or they know they will get paid once they win the case.

    PS

By the way, why are you putting up with c**p at work? There are millions of other places that hire. There is always another choice.

  3. Because this world has become full of greedy people who only care about money and nothing else alot of us are arrogant fools who will sue for the silliest thing at the biggets amount of prices.

  4. America needs a loser pays system. If you lose and your lawsuit is found to be frivolous, you must pay all court costs and any expenses the defendent incurred.
