Consider two average sized males. For all parameters not elaborated upon, consider average values. Those fighters are theoretical oracle machines; they will perform the most optimal moves based on all game trees within 5 min. however, they can't read the mind of their opponent. The game tree complexity will be way beyond 10^600.

The goal/objective is to kill the opponent. In order to prevent lack of motion there will be in place the following rule:

If nobody is dead after five minutes, both fighters will be declared loser. Consequently, the fighters will have an incentive to fight, because "fight" will have a higher win probability than the "do nothing" option. The fighters will have flawless knowledge of all their potential motions within a time frame of five minutes. They have no protection whatsoever. The arena is a 10 m x 10 m cube made out of .6 m thick depleted uranium.

  1. assuming all this is occurring in a world with the same anatomical and physical rules as our own, like heartbeat and gravity, then the fight would be unpredictable, but there would be a winner due simply to chance. For this fight to occur in a world similar t ours then it would be impossible for both fighters to be equal: one fighter would have gotten a little less sleep than the other the night before, one fighter's body would produce a 1/2 ounce more adrenaline than the other, one fighter would be more emotionally affected by the situation than the other, one fighter would think more than the other, etc. etc. There is no such thing as perfect equals, because then the fight would always end in a draw, this is reality. If the fight occurs in realty with the closest to equal opponents that is possible with the highest amount of equal skill that is possible then a winner will be determined by chance. If it doesn't occur in reality then they will end in a perfect draw.

  2. if two perfect fighters fought, it would either end in a draw, in which no one would be struck. Or one blow what decide the outcome

  3. Fight and loose you die

do nothing and draw, both declared loss but live.

It doesn't matter how great the probability is for the win from the fight option over the do nothing option as the difference in the result of the loss from the two situations cannot be measured.

If however for some strange and unfathomable reason they did fight, these fighters being perfect negatates the possibility of the mistake and so the fight would be decided on whoever slips on the depleted uranium floor that is covered in, these pefect fighter in average joe bodies, sweat.

  4. the perfect fighter never fights. period.

  5. No such thing as perfect.

  6. There is no such thing as a perfect fighter

  7. Nobody is perfect...

if they were there would be no fights.

  8. id say since they are both evenly matched that it would simply be a matter of both getting their stamina worn down and the fight would get called due to something such as a badly cut eye that just happened to be hit by the other fighter

  9. why the h**l are they fighting on depleted uranium

  10. Since both of these are two of the best fighters, perform at the highest tactical moves, then, it will be like 60 seconds speed chess, the first to make a mistake loses the game/fight. Except the fight with perfect fighters only last within 10 seconds after engagement, both knows all the vital points, who ever make the first mistake would be kill. In 10 seconds of engagement, they would have exchanged 40 to 60 moves.

The only problem that could occur is if both prefer a counter attack strategy, and both keeps on circling each other and waiting until time is almost up and who ever crack first and make the first attack may lose, because it was not his original strategy.

If both wants to attack first, who ever was able to have better timing will have the advantage and therefore win, within 10 seconds of engagement. It could even be all over in 2 seconds into the engagement. In that 2 seconds, they would have makes 8-12 movies and the first to make the mistake may get hit in the vital points/ weak points and lose.

MMA wears gloves and have lots of rules, so the fight tends to last longer. In such street fights between two masters, it is a quick finish, they both trained to go for the quickest kill, because they know that they may not get a 2nd chance.  It may takes them a while before engagement, because they can be really cautious, and just wait for timing or a small opening from their opponents, but once engaged, it should be over in seconds. Like a drag racing.
