How do perform a search for a phrase within a Word Document?

I have 100 pages of info, notes, etc that i am using to answer questions on an open-note test. It occured to me that if i could perform a search in my notes using the test question phrases i could find the appropriate section instantly and save ALOT of time.

My thought was if i could upload the document on a website- maybe a blog- then i could do a 'cached' google search on a phrase. But would there be a way to do it offline on my pc, or my wife's Mac?

any ideas on how to do this online or offline would be very appreciated

thanks!

If you have OneNote take a look at it. It's really nice for that kind of thing.

  3. All you need to do is hit CTRL+F and type the word you're searching for.

  4. Just go to "edit" and then "find" and type the phrase.

  5. Press the Control Key, hold it and then press the "F" key = Control/Find - type the phrase you're looking for in the box that pops up.
