Alot of them live in warm climates, like miami, texas, so california, so there is golf clubs that are open to play a round, but they usually go to the range with their coach, work on their swings, lift weights, and do extreme work on their short game.  Most pro's will tell you that they do approx 80% of their work from 100 yards and in.  That is where you really shoot low scores.

Well theres lots of indoor driving ranges, and ones that are covered and heated..also there are very realistic golf simulators...but most of them are wealthy enough to go practice in places such as Georgia, Florida, Texas, and even Australia...

Vijay and Tiger in particular are known to be prolific practicers - others are not. Generally however the more you put in too any sport the more you will get out of it.

When the season ends, and the player's card is secured for another season, most wind down for Nov., Dec.  and very little time is spent with the clubs. If the player is competing in Hawaii he will practice prior to the tournaments. If he starts with the West Coast swing he will practice starting early Jan.
