  1. simple . Google map downloaded to their brain

  2. i know i was wondering the same thing!!! and like in harry potter they know who to go to....CRAZY!!!

  3. They are trained to return home to their nesting place.

I think the only time I've seen a bird deliver messages on its own accord is in Harry Potter.

  4. well, in the old days, doctors would go to the sick person's house. he would have a pigeon in a cage behind his bicycle. he would go see what medicine the sick guy needs, write the medicine n paper, attach it to the pigeon. the bird would then go instinctively back to the place it is fed (the doctor's house/ clinic). the assitant would see the paper, and rush to the sick guy's house to give the doctor's paitent the medicine.

the bird just wants to go home(to eat, bath etc.....), humans make use of this by using them to send messanges.

  5. They go home, nowhere else.  You raise them in one place, take them somewhere else, and they'll find their way home.  Its not like you can tell them where you want them to go and they'll do it.
