How do places like Dominos Pizza stay in business?

Question

I had to order one last night because I was homebound with a sick kid and the cupboards were bare, but it was perhaps one of the worst pizzas ever. It wasn't any better than a frozen pizza one would get from the grocery store. Why do people order from these places?

Well some people are diffrent and like that kind of pizza. there is nothing wrong with it, just because it taste wierd to you. I don't like it but some people do. And they stay in business because people buy it.

It is easier than cooking and cleaning up for one thing.  People easily get in a bind just like you did and its an easy out.  Believe it or not people actually like it, especially those who are to lazy to learn how to cook.

People are way to lazy, they don't care they just eat pile toppings on top of it...

How do they stay in business? Simple. They have the BEST deals ($ for amount)

Most people, if they are smart, will consider their 555 or 444 deals. They give you a huge portion of food for the cost, not to mention it is great for parties. They are usually all over the place, so the quality is the same anywhere you go. The taste is fine, its not great pizza, but still has a good taste to it.

By the way, dominos stay in business by selling volume, just as any pizzeria. Pizzerias are one of the few eaterys that make high margins for food sold. It is estimated that the cost to make a pizza is less than $2.. and they sell for 10-12 per pie. That gives them a 8-10 dollar profit per pizza sold. Now, considering that less ingredients go into Dominos, you can see how they are so profitable and why their chains are located all over the United States

Yeah. Dominos is c**p. Get Pizza Hut instead. It's slightly better.

I was wondering the same thing. But obviously some people like the bland sauce and the rubbery crust of Dominoes. Believe me you're not alone...

because people order pizza from them like hot cakes. My brother use to work at Cici's Pizza which is a all you can eat buffet, he use to be a manager and he said there sales wore over a million every month. Some people like Dominos I have some friends and co workers that only eat them but me if i have to order pizza i choose Pizza hut. But you are right sometimes the frozen ones at the grocery store taste better like Tony's frozen pizza that is really affordable
