  1. After you go through the begining you should see options like 1 player brawl and vault you should also see something that says Nitendo wii-fi connection. Go to that then you should connect to wi-fi if you have it. After that you can do Brawl with anyone which lets you brawl with anyone in the world but it's random how you face. Or you can go to friends (the one with the heart by it) and call up friends and tell them to go to friends too. Then go to friend roster at the top it should say me and  a bunch of numbers. Those numbers are your friend code. Swap friends codes and wait a while then you should be registered on the other persons wii. Then you two can choose to play brawl do multi man brawl or do homerun contest. But to do any of these one of you has to make a room the others have to join. home run contest has 2 players same with multi man brawl. Brawling can have UP to 4 players. Hope i helped hoped you.

  2. The Wii does have internet connection just the 360 which can also be wireless. Connecting is easy, all you do is on the main menu for SSBB, you select the "Wi-Fi" option, which is similar to 360's "Live" except a different name.

Once connected you have a few options. You can add a friend using their friend code and play with them in a match (just like 360- however, you only play with friends and no one else unless, the friend you play with invites a friend [no outside players]), you can also play with 3 other random players in a match, or you can play a team match where yourself and a teammate battle two other players (however, the teammate cannot be a friend). At times, the online play is laggy or slow so it is often difficult to play, but if you get into a non-laggy match the experience pays off!
