I'm told they can do it via a small hole in the ground with a certain device, and can put pipes under the ground with minimal damage. Is there such a device and how is it done?

If your looking to have this done on a smaller scale call around to some local landscape and irrigation componies to see if they off trenchless pipe burial

  3. Yes you can bore the hole and then pull through piping but it is not often used except for passing under objects like a driveway. It is simpler to dig in most cases as you want grade on most plumbing except pressured lines.

  4. Once you have some experience, you can become very good at laying pipe.  It's all in the technique.
