  1. I have Bright futures scholarship and it pays 75% of university and 100% from community college. There is also Bright Futures Scholar or something that pays for 100% everything and gives u an extra 300 (you can pay books with that).

What do you need for the 100% one? more than 3.5 GPA on the classes they want (theres 15 classes that they require and take the GPA from) , good SAT (1240 i think), and community service.

How did i get my scholarship? I applied while in my senior year of high school. I went to their website and applied there and my school sent my grades and that was it.

Bright futures scholarship is for Florida only.

  2. Well, typically colleges have an earlier application deadline for students who want to be considered for scholarships. Depending on the college, simply submitting your application puts you into consideration for a scholarship. Make sure you look carefully into the scholarships you want to apply for though, because some aren't necessarily through the college but through an alumni association instead... and those usually require separate applications.

    Good luck! :)
