  1. They work exactly like any store's gift card works.  The card has a value.  You can get anything on eBay that accepts Paypal as a payment method.  When you check out, you enter a code on the card.   You could think of it as a credit card-shaped Paypal gift certificate.

  2. I got one last year for Christmas since everyone knows I am an Ebay addict.It was easy to use. When you win an auction and go to check out, it will ask you if you have a gift card. You can type in the numbers just like any other credit/debit card. It is actually a great gift to receive.Merry Christmas!
