you burn a cd with music on it, then you put it in your ps3 then it automatically saves

Insert your CD or USB flash drive (or other cards if you have slots for them).  Access the folder with the music, hit triangle, and select import/copy or import/copy multiple.  You can import/copy in several bitrates in AAC, MP3, and WMA you must activate the WMA part yourself.  The same goes for video and pics, but the PS3 only reads certain video and pics types; I cannot recall which ones.

Plug in your music player to your ps3. If it is an mp3 player, plug it in using a usb port. If it is a Cd, just put it in the ps3 and it should automatically save.  Then just go to the part where it stores your music and it should be there. I'm not sure if it automatically saves, so if there is a save button, press it.

copy and paste ur music, videos or pics on to a usb stick then plug that in ur ps3, then if u wanna copy music from the usb, go to the music xmb menu then were it says usb device...highlight that then press triangle,then choose display all and u should see all music tracks on ur usb.

to view pics, play music or vids use the appriorate menu or else  u wont see the file ur looking for.
