Those little devices that you pull a stopper and they create a screech of up to 140db.

How do they make the noise?

  1. The noise is produced by an oscillator feeding into a pizo sounder, or a miniature speaker horn.  A miniature version of a commercial fire alarm system.  They are powered by batteries.
