  1. hi,

they can squeeze through v small spaces, check the wires and check he hasnt chewed a small hole! I would try watching him when he doesnt know your there! maybe put his favourite treat or a carrot outside the cage so he can see it!  film it and put it on youtube  - the great escaping rabbit! Maybe he needs some toys and things to interest him - iv got a treat ball for mine which he has to roll around the get the treats.

good luck and let us know how he does it!!

  2. Rabbits may seem like they are fat but its all fur.So rabbits can squeeze through very very small spots. Always check that the rabbit has not chewed through anything like wires or wood.

  3. like kat said, they can squeeze thru very small spaces. the thutch needs to be secure

  4. Rabbits are quiet smart, what kind of lock do you have on his hutch? if its a simple latch he may of been pushing the door untill it came open.

  5. Rabbits have not yet mastered the art of escapology.

You must have left him unsecured.

  6. I keep my rabbits inside, and have watched one of them manage to squeeze through a gap about 2 inches high under my armchair - I would have said her scull was bigger than that!

If you can't find anywhere you think they could have squeezed through you will just have to watch them carefully to work it out.
