  1. If these doors slide left to right....

Then the first thing to do is get the doors themselves out... you can do this by lifting them off the track they are hanging from.  Lift up on the door, and tilt the bottom out.  Do this with both doors.

Then you can lift off the track (the top cross piece) -- these are not normally screwed in, but if they are, it will be at the ends.

Next you would unscrew the 2 vertical side pieces.  These are probably caulked too.

Finally, the bottom piece comes off, and it is normally just caulked in place.

I find that a length of fishing line will cut thru most caulk fairly easily.  Just slip it back and forth behind the rail, and it will cut right through the caulk.

Remove any remaining caulk with a plastic putty knife.

And of course, you will want to fill the old s***w holes with a bit of caulk

I'd suggest that you list the door assembly on FreeCycle.org in your area -- someone may be in need of it.

  2. you should be able to take the doors off by lifting them up and away.  Then, you should be able to slide the top piece straight up and off the side rails.  Then I would cut all the caulk joints with a razor blade.(carefully).  then there should be approx. two screws in each side rail. (they may have some type of round plug over the side rail screws)  Then with the side rails removed and the bottom caulk joint cut you should be able to remove the bottom rail, it is usually not screwed to the tub.                                 good luck
