  1. not at all for most Americans....we all say we will drive less but we are America we love to drive, are cities and rural areas are not set up to walk.  If gas goes to $6 a gallon i believe we will use more fuel than when it was $.99 cents a gallon.  Every year we will use more and more fuel, it will only effect our wallets and our children when we totally invade the mideast

  2. Not one bit,  Chang in my thoughts thoe.  I love gas but conspiring on my own electric car because their faster.

  3. I live 1 mile from work. I walk. Gas prices dont effect my life at all.

  4. i just ***** about it more.

    like everyone else

  5. They hardly affect me at all, I live 1.13 miles from work, and my car gets 31mpg. Plus I usually ride my bike anyways. The high price of gasoline will affect me even less when I convert my car to propane.

  6. I combine all my work, errand trips as much as I can, I don't travel far unless absolutely necessary.

  7. I don't think they effect my life personally.(not that I can do anything about it.)  Yeah it sucks the gas prices keep rising but we need gas to heat the house and drive our vehicles.  So it comes with the territory.

  8. personally, i have stoped buying Mcdonalds and wendy's food because i dont have cash, all my money is going for gas.

  9. I have an American friend who says that she is looking forward to come back to Brazil 'cause she is spending much in gas , her salary is the same in USA but the things in the US are very expensive and she can't save money and here in Brazil the food , housing , the salary of the maid, school and  the gas is cheaper ( U$1,2 per liter). We don't need to import petroleum since we produce it we have oil fields.I spend U$ 35 to fill .

  10. Personally, it doesn't affect me too much. I don't drive very much, and when I do drive it's on a long distance vacation where I get well over 30mpg anyways, so I'm not too concerned. I drive reasonably and consistently beat the EPA estimates for my car. I could see how it would hurt if you had a gas guzzling SUV or V8 though.

  11. Yeah, it's no fun paying $70 for a fill-up.  Money's already tight as it is.

  12. Makes me say bad words while filling up.

  13. yeah it suks that the prices are becomeing so high..its bad enought that the taxes are getting higher...its changed my life by haveing to waste all my money on gas, instead of other things that i might need the money for, such as putting food on the table and all of that
