Outside of the name brands, and Sansui isn't one for TVs, they are all made in the whoflungpoo factories in China. The $250,000 Runco is probably the best TV on the market right now, but if there is a best, then there has to be a worst.

Look at these: Pioneer, Sharp, Mitsubishi, Toshiba, Samsung, LG, Panasonic, Hitachi, JVC, Zenith, Philips, and I'm probably forgetting a few. Sigh... These companies don't all make "great" TVs, but they're likely going to be better than Sansui, Visio, Optima, and all the other cutrate junk from China.
