How do show-business kids get cigarettes?

When a kid is in show business, who gives them their first cigarettes? I mean, Britney Spears was a Mouseketeer, and Miley Cyrus is on a Disney show, and Leann Rimes was a country music singer when they were kids, and someone gave them cigarettes. Was it a makeup person, a director, a producer, their agents, their tutors, or their parents? Gaby Hoffman, Emma Watson and Jamie Lynn Spears are other examples. They seem to have no problem getting cigarettes.

So, who is it that allows them to start smoking, and keeps providing them with cigarettes? Has no one ever gotten in trouble for this?

Same way normal kids gets ciggs...someone over the age of 18 buys it for them.

I'm going to guess their manager does. If they don't, they find new employment. That's show biz.
