How do so many people afford street cars?

I mean I always see them around where I live..They even have events on Fridays, where you can register your tuned up street car and race on the track... I know this scene has been going on a while but im just wondering what kind of jobs do these people have?!. The amount of money and time they put into it. Its incredible.

Learn how to do as much as you can your self. Cut corners. The name of my last race bike was ALL MY MONEY TOO.

thay have normal jobs

my mate has a vl turbo and he spends so much money on it and its one fast car like 0-100km in around 4.5 seconds and he earns around 300 a week(an apprentice mechanic) which isnt that much.. but theirs stuff all money to do anything else.  it all depends on if ur a car freak or not and how much u want to spend on your car,some cars can look "sick" and fast  without having much spent on them others have owners who spend so much but thay might have saved to do what u see and it usally takes time to build up one fast street car cause working an engine and rims arent cheap
