I'VE HEARD ELECTRIC CARS ARE COMING OUT NEXT MONTH. I'D WATCH THE NEWS. BUT EITHER WAY THEIR ARE'NT ANY VEHICLES ON THE ROAD , THE OCEAN OR IN THE SKY THAT CAN HARM OUR ENVIRONMENT. I had a solar powered car, it worked great, until it got dark.

Then there's my electric car, it was so cheap, until I looked at the extension cord needed to make it run, it was like $20k.

Solar power is an electro-chemical reaction.  Do you know how electric motors work?  You would have to see one (or even better, build one - I think Radio Shack had a kit to make one.)  An electric motor is a series of electro-magnets arranged in a circle around a shaft.  When some of the magnets are switched on, they move the magnet and the shaft a slight amount until they are switched off and the adjacent magnets are switched on. That's what spins the motor.
