How do some people put up videos on youtube longer than 10 minutes?

and don't say they have a director's account because I have one and they still won't let me upload videos longer than ten minutes. What are some other ways?

One side of the page, there is something that says "Upload files larger than 100MB or upload many files at once!", click that.

becoming a youtube partner, people like happyslip and kevjumba qualify to become a partner because they have original videos, they own the copyrights, and upload videos that get thousands of views in a short time, basically, they are more popular than most youtubers. They get special features if they apply and are accepted into the partnership.

youtube will not accept file exceeding 100 MB and 10 minutes, you need to split it and upload separately in series...

--for editing and splitting of video....

moviemaker can help you split it and also edit it.

windows movie maker (included in your windows machine)... it can help you make beautiful slideshow or video clip(e.g. mixing your songs with pictures/video/etc).... then save it as video file such as wmv file format... finally upload.

or .. Just get those clips you want , save & convert them, and then mix/match with pix/sound/etc using windows movie maker to create new masterpieces....

this will help you.... Use 'zillatube'. This is the easiest (and also the fastest) way.

Zillatube produces mpg/mp3 formats from youtube that are compatible with windows movie maker(or media player), and more.

It is very easy to download and convert videos. Then edit those converted mp3/mpg videos with windows movie maker... save your file as wmv and then upload.
