From my friend and just around the campus, I hear that there's certain students who take AP tests for about 5-10 AP classes in just a year and pass with 5's on all of them, they also participate in many extracurricular activities, do lots of community service, take a myriad of sports, and earn perfect grades. This, to me is really impressive since I am struggling with just merely 2 AP's and a bit of community service when I find time... Is it because I'm not smart enough? How do they do it? Are they just naturally smart or do they study a lot or what? Is it because they can manage their time better than I can?

  1. They take their knee pads to class

  2. They do what colleges hate... concentrate on school

While school is the primary focus, universities look for well rounded students who HAVE lives outside of the curriculum

  3. They manage their time really well... and they are also very intelligent people.  Trust me.  They don't have too much of a life, but they don't seem to mind sometimes.  They're very fulfilled doing all those other things.

  4. ACID. it helps
