How do some traders make mone quickly in the market?

It seems most investors even the rich ones started out as traders.

Imagine sowing a seed for an oak tree in your garden and not having to tend it at all. All that is required of you is to take a look at it at least twice a day. Nature does the rest. It gives you a lot of time to do other stuff which u like, doesn't it?

That's what trading in the stock market is like. U just pick a sturdy, good, potentially profitable stock (which is really the hardest part and what makes George Soros and Warren Buffet different from the rest of us), buy it and sit back and watch.

Even if you did not have a lot to start out with, you do not sit around watching the stock. U just monitor it to make sure it is headed the way u intend. U go out to ur day job and save more money to invest in the market.

Making money QUICKLY is dependent on how much research u put into picking the stock u buy. Some stocks bring returns in the shortest possible time (such as if u buy just before a merger or a takeover). Some stocks are good for the long time investor (such as buying into a new listed airline or business).

It doesn't work like you are thinking. The bigger money happens by taking bigger risks and bigger risks means that you can make bigger potential losses. for example, you could trade in smaller companies; they can grow very big very quickly, but they can also go bust... and they do. A way of making stable consistent money in the markets is by studying them and understanding what would suggest that a company is undervalued. This takes time. Trying to rush into making big money usually ends in big losses.  There is no easy way to make money, look at the link below... it is how warren Buffett the investment billionaire made his money.
