how to start to battle a friend?

well first go to a pokemon center (red roofed building) in almost every city. After that go up the esclator and now it depends what level pokemon you have. If you have pokemon levels 30 and under go talk to the person at the second desk or if you have pokemon 30 and up go to the 3rd desk. If you go to the second room it is called the Union room. Say yes to all of her questions and save, if you do she'll let you in. But if you go to the 3rd room it is called the colosseum. You can also choose if you want to double battle or a single battle or even a mix battle (mix means 3 pokemon out each).After that choose your rules (I choose no restrictions) then you save.After that you have to choose who will be the leader and who will join the group. After you finish that choose your friends username then choose which side you want and battle away! (P.S YOU CANT USE ITEMS)

you have to go to the top or bottom of the pokemon center but probaly bottom you need their friend code and talk to the girl by the door when in click apply on the friend and choose battel
