How do state shools in england work?

im going into year 11 and im going to england. Im going to be attending a state school and i was just wondering if they were mixed, as in they had boys and girls in them, or are they schools where its all boys and all girls

It really does depend if your going to girls grammer its a all girls but literally all state schools are mixed its ok don't worry about that.

Normally your day starts at 9am till 3:30pm

You will study maths science engish but other than that you will have to choose what you want to study to get a GCSE in.
