  1. 1st off, you're confusing ALL drugs with CERTAIN drugs. Only a select few drugs destroy peoples teeth.

2nd, Those drugs are stimulant drugs, like cocaine, meth, ecstasy, etc. And what happens is, stimulant drugs give you dry mouth (makes you produce less saliva). This lack of saliva can make your teeth rot. But this only applies to hardcore addicts who are on these drugs constantly.

Also, stimulants cause jaw-clenching. All that pressure on your teeth isn't too good for them either.

  2. It just does.

Just like cigarettes make people's teeth yellow.

Do you want to know what is in cigarettes and drugs?

I dont think you really do.

So I'll save you the trip of gagging.

  3. Cocaine and its byproducts - crack etc., wear down the enameling on people's teeth. It causes the gums to recede, and the loss of enamel on the surface of the teeth result in increased cavities and accelerated decay.

The worst drug for teeth is meth. Methamphetamine affects the salivary glands in the mouth, leaving you with no saliva - a very dry mouth. This means that any bacteria or natural acids or salts in every day food and drink melt away the enameling on the teeth, and they rot quickly. Sometimes you can lose all of your teeth within a year. Very horrible.
