Question:

How do surfers keep from losing their surfboard?

like when they get swept in a wipeout or something, is the board attatched to them like a boogie board?

  1. We have a leash on attached to our ankle but sometimes in a real harsh swelll they can break off and you gotta go fish out ya board.

  5. yes there is a leash/leg rope which attachs to the surfers ankle using a velcro strip on the end...just like a boogie board.

  9. I'm a surfer, and yes we use a leash, but it's not connected to the arm like a boogie board instead it is connected to the ankle. The leashes aren't full proof though, Ive had one snap on me once. Some people don't use a leash, which is kinda fun... you just have to hold onto your board real well.

  10. Most use leashes but some like me use pschokenetic power keep the board from drifting away.

  12. every surf board (like a boogie board) has a leash connected to it

    its a  3- 4 feet long rubber or silicon cable

    its attached to ur ankle so your board doesnt escape
