How do surfers stay in shape?

you know those mini surfboards that you put over a roller, and surfers use them to get in shape? what are those called?

  1. surfering is most difficult because you have to keep your balance... that takes very strong abdominal muscles


  2. Surfing uses pretty much every muscle in your body, from your arms, to legs, mid section and internally. lifting is always one way but the problem with that is becoming stiff, to solve that problem i do yoga, also yoga gets your body use to many positions you get yourself into surfing, running or any cardiovascular  related work outs are great. the boards used for training that sit on a roller are called indo boards.

  4. Surfing is one of the most physical activities that i've ever done!!  Surfing in itself is a task!
