  1. Simple answer is: practice!

    Pro swimmers have been doing it for years and train regularly, so stuff like that is second nature and they don't even have to think about it.

    Good spatial awareness is important, too, as well as a keen sense of balance.

    Also, if you look carefully, you can see a small weight in the front of their swimming costume - this makes sure that when they turn, they always come up the right way. Men have it in their trunks, and women swimmers have two in the top bit.

  5. Do a somersault near the and, but half way through, add a twist.  Keep practising.  I never get it right every time.
