How do tadpoles get in a pond?

IM AT THE ARLINGTIN PARK ON A HILL AND THERE IS A POND AND IN THAT POND THERE ARE ALOT OF TADPOLES IN THERE I JUST WANTED TO KNOW HOW DID THESE TADPOLES GET IN THERE HOW DID THEY GET IN THERE THE POND IS ABOUT 3 FEET DEEP AND I GO THERE ALL THE TIME PLEASE ANSWER I WOMT FORGET TO PUT BEST ANSWER
