  1. Aluminum is a metal, the third most common element, and a toxin in the body. You'll find it in processed foods, antiperpirants, antacids, cosmetics, paper products, and beverage cans, foil and cookware.

On one hand, DuPont maintains all Teflon-coated cookware is safe because none of the PFOA used to make Teflon remains in the finished product. On the other hand, DuPont acknowledges that heating empty Teflon-coated pans releases toxic fumes, but only at temperatures exceeding 660°F (340°C). There is currently a class-action suit filed by several states claiming Teflon releases PFOA under normal cooking use and that the company did not warn consumers about its dangers.7,9

Vinyl chloride is a flammable and colorless gas with a mildly sweet odor. It can be formed when other substances such as [trichloroethane] and trichloroethylene are broken down. It is used to make [polyvinyl chloride (PVC)] plastic and vinyl products.

  2. anything derived from petroleum (plastics e.g.) or other natural resources (aluminum) is going to deplete that resource.  The refining process itself pollutes - ever been around an oil refinery?  Then we treat this stuff as a disposible throwing untold amounts of aluminum packaging and foil into landfills and driving gas guzzling vehicles as if there were no end to petroleum reserves.

most of the stuff in landfills is packaging material from all those consumer goods that we could buy without the packaging.  picture a world in which we take our own reusable containers to the store and fill up on shampoo, drinks, rice, beans, even fast food. instead every time we have a meal it involves way too much throw-out material

  3. Teflon, PVC plastic, etc is disruptive to our own cells and the cells of many organisms.  Many things like this, crude oil itself, should stay put exactly where it is, deep within the earth.  Man never had business drilling for any of this from the very first drilling.

  4. They JUMP out of peoples SUVs onto the side of the road.  We should have MORE government workers (like Charles Manson for starts) out there running after all the teflons, PVC,plastic, and aluminum and , well, taking care of business so to speak....dawn to dusk......24/7....until he is simply dead tired.

  5. all leach toxins into the air/ground and also the making of these products produce pollution too.

  6. Those are some complex topics.  All of those products cause pollution throughout the product development cycle.  Whether it's mining bauxite for aluminum or drilling for oil, both have many toxic byproducts and leave lasting damage.  Smelting aluminum, refining oil, making the chemicals used in production of teflon and PVC and manufacturing the products themselves all release toxic chemicals into the air, water and soil.  And of course all of these products leave waste products that have to be dealt with, whether through landfill, incineration or recycling.
