Dentists don't have anything to do with Braces.  You need to see an Orthodontist.  They do not use a drill.

An orthodontist puts a special glue on the bracket and stick it to your tooth.  No drills are involved.  They dont put any scary instruments in your mouth, unless you count the thing that keeps your mouth open.

No they d o not use a drill. They apply glue to each tooth and place a bracket. Also on your 4 molar teeth they place a ring which is placed and you bite down to place it . The process is painless. Also a orthodontist does braces.
