How do the Gideons get Bibles into hotel rooms?

I know a guy who became a preacher of sorts after being a Gideon Every year he lets the Gideons come and speak at the church about all the Bibles they put out.Real boasters they are.They get permission from head authorities to put them in the hotels and motels and they collect funds for more when they go to visit your churches.Quite a organization

They contact the hotel owner annually via mail to arrange an appointment (if possible) to inspect the existing bibles. The worn bibles are removed by the Gideons and replaced with new bibles. A generous supply is given to the hotel owner to keep for future use.

I have been an assistant manager in a motel in the past.  One day there was a pallet of Bibles behind the desk, I asked where they came from, and nobody had seen the Gideons.
