How do the MBTA transfers with the Charlie Card work?

Question

I was wondering what the transfers are now for the MBTA. I know that bus to bus is free. Is it the same for train to train? Also, what about bus to train, and train to bus?

Any information is greatly appreciated. =D

Bus to Subway Transfers are Discounted when you use your Card on the bus, if you are Going to the Subway Stations on buses.the Buses like the 450 459 455 into boston is $2.80  i think. you pay that,then you get a Discount Transfer to Subway.

All transfers with the Charlie Card are fre, If yoy don't have the card they are 50 cents.
