Hi Guys and Gals!

Ok heres the deal, and please I know I was a fool for smoking it but don't tell me over and over that I shouldn't of etc lol as I'm WELL aware I shouldn't off. Ok here goes... Ive been a regular smoker of cannabis for 4 years now. I have now stopped, I get no cravings or anything. Ive submitted an application into the RAF and have been clean now for 4 days (not a long time I know). I think my medical will be around about the 25th August to the 1st September as my aptitude tests are booked for the 5th August and my AFCO officer advised it takes around 2-3 weeks after the tests for the medical. Ive heard it takes up to 28 days from my GP to remove cannabis from the system and shes been very helpful however I need someone to tell me how the RAF screen for drugs... Is it urine, blood or hair? I'm 19, slim, good level of fitness and muscular rather than fat. I drink plenty of iced water a day and visit the gym and do regular ex cerise at home (weights, sit-ups etc etc). I'm just really worried as I did if truth be told smoke alot during those 4 years. So please can anyone help me by giving me a good answer?

Thanks in advance!

Yours,

J

  1. All CDT tests in the forces are done through urine samples

  2. the Weed passes thru body soon enuf, BUT it stays inyour hair folicles for 30-60 days!  I dont think shaving it helps any!

    rip that Bong Baby

  3. Urine test.

Edit; Cannabis can take anything up to 3 months to be purged completely from the system.

  4. Urine samples are clear after 4-5 Days, but I query why you are asking if you are not intending to have a little last fling, it will be gone from your hair, when the hair itself, has grown out, it can still be found in any hair that is still growing, up to a year after, but not by the chemical tests done, but by structural analysis, ( do not apply to be a spy, abroad, this will be tested for, by this analysis method ), but it will not be tested for by hair , analysis, at any RAF medical, your tests will be clear by then, but do not be present when a friend smokes this in the preceding 24 hrs, prior to a medical, this will show up, in blood tests, which, though not usually used, are sometimes applied if you go for Flying, duties, even as cabin crew, and regularly after acceptance.....
