  1. Clouds colour depends upon what it does to the sunlight which is falling on it.Clouds sometimes reflect the sunlight, sometimes absorb it and scatter it after reflection. Accordingly, the colour changes. If a particular wavelength(or particular colour) is dispersed and scattered more particularly due to its long path through the atmosphere, that colour may predominate.

Sometimes the same cloud will look white from the top and grey from the bottom because of reflection at the top and partial absorption at the bottom.

  2. Its all to do with light. Thick clouds that give rain stop the sun light getting through so they look darker.

  3. they hold moisture so the light diffuses and gives a grey / black colour .

  4. They become denser. Clouds arenaturaly a tiny bit grey. But when they're thin, the sun shines through them. However when they become full of more water vapour less light can shine through. Also sometimes harmful gasses such as CO2 can contaminate them and cause them to change colour. xx

  5. clouds change color due to the sunlight they receive during different parts of the day. for example, during dusk, the sun emits the red color wavelength to a greater extent and this rays of sunlight gets reflected by the clouds and we observe clouds of different colors.

  6. probably due to moisture content and sunlight .ie the more heavily laden the clouds are with water the darker they appear and the early and late sun can create some incredible hues when it strikes the clouds

  7. It depends on the density, the darker the clouds, the more dense they are.

  8. its angels having a pee.

more angels = darker clouds = more pee (rain)!
