How do the electronic stores get there tvs on display to look amazing?

you see the tv in the store and it looks amazing but when you take it home it dosen't look quite the same.

Have you ever noticed how they are always at the back of the store, away from all the windows? That way you get no reflections and improve 'apparent' contrast levels.
