How do the fans around you react when you wear your favorite teams apperal and gear?

I wear my Boston Red Sox stuff in NY and I'm a little judged not as much as I though though?I thought i be taking a lot of c**p and every time a see an Angel fan they talk about how they beat the sawx 8 out of 9.I say look at last year October and they just shrugg me off. I hate that!They are ruder than THE Yankees's fans at least a NYY and I got to have a kind conversation about our Rivalry and how the NYY and BOSOX carry baseball.Angel fans Which is weird how they pop up when they start winning???HMMM.......(BANDWAGON)So yea whats your opion on peoples way they look at you when you wear your teams apperal?

I wear my Yankees stuff EVERYWHERE I go. The reactions vary. Since I live in southwestern Connecticut now, I'm in Yankee-friendly turf and I usually get a few thumbs-up or just a happy nod. I probably get more nasty reactions when I wear a Syracuse T-shirt (since this is UConn country).

When I was living in Virginia, I got a few coarse looks from Orioles and Braves fans when they saw me wearing a Yankee hat with a shirt, but nothing too outlandish. Usually a few boos or a few people tried to say I was the typical arrogant Yankees fan when they didn't even know me. When I lived in Northern New York, the head coach of the St. Lawrence University hockey team asked me about my Yankees hat (he's a Red Sox fan originally from Massachusetts). I just told him I'm from Brooklyn and he understood.

I could give a d**n what anyone says. The Yankees will ALWAYS be my squad and I'll rock Yankees gear ANYWHERE, even in downtown Boston.

I wear Yankee gear, some people give me a hard time, but most of them are uneducated and know nothing about baseball.

A red sox fan should NEVER be calling ANYONE bandwagon...since it his the red sox that have perfected bandwagonism in recent times.  

PS: You can't handle a little of your own medicine eh?  Red sox fans are the loudest and most obnoxious fan base since buying a WS in 2004.

I wear nationals gear. People from the other team that the Nationals are playing laugh at me for some reason and they disrespect my brother for wearing both Cincinnati and Washington shirts and hats.

I'm a Red Sox fan, too, and no matter where I go (except maybe Boston...) I ALWAYS get at least one strange stare, dirty look or rude comment everytime I wear my Red Sox stuff.

It used to offend me, and I'd confront them about it, but now, I let it slide. I really don't care if people think I'm a freak for wearing Red Sox t-shirts or baseball caps. I'm a Red Sox fan and I'm gonna show my team pride no matter what!

I own over 50 Braves shirts and wear one of them every single day of baseball season.

I have worn them in Chicago, St. Louis, Baltimore, Boston, New York, St. Pete and even in Philly.

People tease me about it, but no one has ever been rude or mean to me.

Maybe, it's because I'm an old woman and they respect their elders.

My husband says it's because they're afraid I'll hit them with my cane!

Once I showed up at a Mariners game wearing Tiger stuff and the usher said, "I think you're in the wrong place."

Another time there were a bunch of Tiger fans by me and we had quite a cheering section. Bill the Beerman was there leading cheers and we countered him.

The scariest thing was when a guy threatened me.

I wear my Derek Jeter jersey when I go see the Yankees play the O's at Camden Yards & people stare but you should see how many fans are wearing Yankees stuff & when they Boston, it's the same thing.

People never say much when I wear my Cleveland Indians stuff here in Detroit, but when I break out the Ohio State stuff, all h**l breaks loose.

Well, no one really looks at me weird if I'm wearing my A's gear. I live about 45 minutes away from the stadium, so most everyone around where I live are A's fans, so no one really looks at me weird if I wear A's gear.

One day I Remember at School i used a Yankee Shirt or Jeter Jersey cant remeber , but i swear in ever class somebody told me the Yankees suck, why i root for them and i just responded with my Honest answer
