  1. Humans ARE animals.

    We use tools; but so do chimpanzees and gorillas.

    We are self-aware; but so are dolphins and chimpanzees.

    We have language; but so do whales and dolphins.

    The major difference between humans and other animals is our oversized brain.  However, it's simply a matter of degree; it is not an us/them dichotomy.


  2. I have only one thing to say and that is...

    The animal habitat  has never lead to environmental destruction, while the human habitat has caused mass environmental destruction.
