How do the manga-ka get the boxes in the manga?

I mean like do they put the boxes in by a computer thing, or do they hand draw them?

By boxes, do you mean the panels? I think generally most manga-ka do everything by hand. I do my own manga on the computer, only because i find it more convenient. Besides, you cant draw the rest of the picture if you don't have the panels in first. Right?
