  1. apparently they get about 1-2 grades better in the real thing


  2. mocks are like preparation for the real thing. if you do well in mocks, it indicates that you will do well in the real thing too. u know why, coz the mocks themselves are old gcse papers. if you do bad, no worries. you could always practice and practice.

  3. mocks are old GCSE papers so they should not be far off "real" GCSE's

Assuming students continue to work between mocks and GCSE's they get on average a grade higher, some exceptions come in practical subjects and also modular subjects (e.g. if you do modular science) where it should usually be an accurate grade. My advice is to prepare yourself as fully as possible and almost anything is possible, I got an E in my Maths mock at school and came out with a B. Preparation really is key!!
