  1. "Spanish" and "Hispanic" are synonymous.

  2. Is like how the British view American. Bloody Yankee!

  3. Spanish people do not consider themselves Hispanic and they are offended if referred as one, i found out by experience and this is not a mistake you want to make while in Spain....... the Spanish view Hispanics (aka they consider hispanics only south americans)  just like everyone else,,if a hispanic person goes to spain they usually don't find racism EXCEPT for the people (which tend to be young) that try to go as thugs and latin king wannabes......... if you are hispanic and act, dress and hold yourslef with self respect you will be respected..... just like any other country......... for example an american in britan that goes as showoff they won't be respected but an american in britan that acts like anyone else without trying to be suprior will be respected

  4. Let me put it this way my parents are from Spain and they do not consider themselves Hispanic. I am from Mexico so I consider myself Hispanic.

I have never had problems in Spain. They think it's interesting when I visit there. Because my accent is totally different, than theirs and a few of my traditions. My experience might be a little different since both of my parents are from Spain and immigrated to Mexico in the 1960's.
