  1. Functionalism-if there was no crime to fight, there wouldn't be a need for policemen, firemen, hospitals, doctors, basically people to constantly fix the deviance that keeps them paid.

    Conflict Theory-The deviant people are obviously acting out on a society that is oppressing them so they continue to act deviantly until change happens.

    Symbolic Interactionism-The deviants want others to think they are bad or tough maybe as a way to gain respect from others.
