  1. When a werewolf imprints, they know the first time they look at that person. It feels to them like that person is the only one that matters. A werewolf imprints on someone who is most likely to carry on the werewolf genetics. It is supposed to be rare, but it happens quite a bit with the werewolves in twilight. It is unknown why it happens.

  2. When a werewolf imprints, it is basically love at first site. The werewolf feels that he/she needs to be by the side of the one that they have imprinted on 24/7. They protect that person as much as you can. Quil protects Claire and takes care of her like he is her older brother. Same with Jacob and Nessie (sorry for the BD Spoiler!)

  3. Imprinting for werewolves is when they fall in love and can't leave there side.. They are the protector of imprinted one.. They don't really have much of a choice in it I think. AH i love breaking dawn!

  4. no one really knows HOW they do it...because it comes naturally...in the book it says that it could happen anytime anywhere...its like after a werewolf have its first phase and saw her soulmate.....then he imprints on her!!!...if u read breaking dawn...you'll understand it better because on book 2 in jacobs perspective we actually witness his imprinting on nessie!!! when he saw nessie glowing in rosalie's arms..that was the time he understood what imprinting really was!!!

  5. If you remember it wasn't decided. Some think it's the genetics that will make strong werewolf children others say it's cause of true love.

  6. they imprint to some one who can carry in the gene of werewolves.

it happens at any moment at any age .. and  no one knows why.

  7. I thought it was when they see someone who is their life partener they know right away and it's called inprinting

  8. it happens immediately, at first site.  the first time we actually get a firsthand description of it was in breaking dawn.

  9. It's better explained in New Moon - when you imprint, as described, it's like you forget everything that connects you to this world and she connects you to this world; you only see her.  Then whatever she needs in a person, the werewolf will give it to her - fun/care from a big brother, support from a friend, love from a lover, etc.  Basically love at 1st site, but they don't know why it happens.  There's a better descripition on the last chapter of Jacob's account in Breaking Dawn.

That's the best way I can put it. I hope I helped you understand it better.
