How do these contribute to a poem's mood?

I'm constantly reading that rhythm and rhyme can contribute to a poem's mood. But...how do they? I always sucked when it came to poetry...

,,do you listen to music? music has rhythm you feel it and you hear it. The same goes for poetry you feel and hear the rhythm when you read it. just like a song if the rhythm is missing it is just NOISE.
