How do they add rings to the Stanley Cup?

Ok, so I know how that if the Cup runs out of space, they remove the top ring and add a new one to the bottom. How do they do it?

The bottom rings are huge compared to the top rings. Or do they just keep the ones in between the top and bottom rings?

They weld them.

Most likely the bottom can be taken off and the rings can slide off.  They would take the top one off, then move the rest upwards and put a fresh ring on.

Yep, basically that's what happens. Take out an old ring and put on a new one.
