How do they check your age on a carnival cruise?

Momsezno, apparently my question was hard to understand. Ill fix it up here.

My brother is 18..the legal age to gamble on a carnival cruise.

I look like my brother.. why would I not be able to use his passport/sail and sign card.

My parents are okay with me gambling and I can also just use cash since the casino does accept that.

Thanks for the attempt Momsezno. Hopefully this edit will help others out.

  1. When they check your passport or ID it shows your age.  No, you will not be able to use any else's passport.  And your sail and sign cards will indicate whether you are over 21 or not, so you can't "fake it" that way, either.  Besides, the charges would show up when your parents go to settle the bill at the end of the cruise.

  2. i dont think i would try it ,if they catch you they will put you off the ship at next port now you have to find your own way home , plus they will let the law know what happen they could press charges, identy theift so for your own safety i would not do it ,it will also get your brother in trouble to it not worth it ,beside he 18 they will not let him either you have to be 21 , have a great cruise

  3. Your sail and sign card will have your age implanted in it. You are considered the age you are on the day of embarkation for the WHOLE cruise.
