How do they choose the girls that dance in the cages at the night clubs?

Do they pick them at random... is there a waiting list... is it how well they dance... or something else?

They are club clients who ran up their tab and then didn't pay. You so don't want to mess with those clubs!

Auditions............

For the particular job at hand. If got the style, the look, the dance and the personality to all fit, then the chance of getting hired is high when holding auditions.

I know the dancers in Vegas at studio 54, Coyote Ugly and productions are auditions etc.

Most dancers get their jobs and starts by auditioning, sometimes repeatably.

its their job, so they get hired and its just like them going to work evrey night. they probaly go through interviews and they have to try out

They have scouts that go out and find dancers and interview them and have them dance to see if they are good enough to hire. Some night clubs do hold auditions for all their dancers
